Idoits at Work

Oh gosh...how can there be such people in this world!!!! So so so tu-pid....stupid!
Can someone advise me what to do??? Oh ya, sorry, i forget to explain what happened to me. I think I am too hot-headed already.
'Somebody' in my office organise a birthday party for our boss on a Sat's afternoon and sent out an invitation to all staffs to ATTEND this birthday lunch. And better still, my 'Superior' ordered all of us in his department to ATTEND as compulsory. OMG! Since when an invitation becomes an ORDER? And who gave him/her the authority to hack into our weekend's personal time?
OH...please...for all those bootlickers, they are more than happy to do so.
BUT....for me, i rather sleep at home or spend some time with my bf & family.
Guess what did I do??? I simply told my 'Superior'....Sir, I will be sick tomorrow and unable to attend the lunch event....
And he gave me a stunned look and said....Sorry, you cannot excuse yourself......
*conversation went into deadlock, so it ended without a closing*

OH...please spare me, I am NOT coming , ok....
